Recently the Myst Fan Club, comprised of Myst aficionados from around the world, sponsored its annual, "Make One, Share One," contest, where members created stunning and whimsical art to be used as competition awards through the rest of 2011.

deviantART Honors Spirit Day Tweet

You might have noticed that deviantART is wearing purple today, as October 20, 2010 marks Spirit Day -- an event to honor teens who have lost their lives to anti-LGBT bullying.

While this specific type of bullying has received a lot of media attention as of late, we'd like to bring to light how bullying is a wide-spread problem that impacts everyone -- regardless of age, gender, sexual orientation, physical ability, ethnicity, race, or profession.  And the recent surge of teen suicides associated with bullying can't be ignored or overlooked.

Christmas at home.

So, got home about two days ago, late in the evening of 23rd. I wrote one entry on LJ about the trip, need to probably write another, but now's not the time. If you want, you can see the pictures my co-worker Jenni took during the trip here.

Sadly, I'm not enjoying my Christmas quite the way I expected, because I caught some kind of a stomach bug within the last 23 hours and have been alternatively shitting and puking my guts out (TMI, sorry). I'm gonna miss most of the food, though, unless this clears up by tomorrow. :\

They are! And we don't have much of a chance to learn them in my school... but when I get to college, it'll be great. :D

Actually, you can still run the Gametap wrapper with some modifications. Take a look at: [link]

I run it myself and it works fairly well, however you can have some texture issues with Intel graphics. But it's relatively fine.
